The Resident Life department offers social events, development programs to complement college learning, student support services, and community service options. Get involved as little or as much as you like. Collegiate Village is a great connection to the surrounding regional community. Enjoy quick access to city life, HSBC arena, the waterfront and the medical corridor with downtown Buffalo being only 10 minutes away. The airport, suburban shopping and entertainment is also only minutes away. We are also centrally located near other institutions of higher learning and trade schools.

Committed to your academic success, private bedrooms are a place where students enjoy personal space for studying and use of highspeed internet. Quiet buildings are available to help with your study habits. The Lodge has WiFi throughout along with a computer center and meeting room. The meeting room can be reserved for study groups or other academic functions. The theater can be used for video and power point presentations, including surround sound with microphone capabilities. The Resident Life department will offer development programs to complement the college learning experience.

Safety

Fire safety is a serious concern in off-campus apartments, particularly in the older, city homes that surround most area colleges and universities. All Collegiate Village buildings and apartments have fire safety alarm systems with sprinklers.  Windows throughout the apartments meet proper egress (exit) requirements.

There are reminders daily of the need and importance of better security in off-campus housing. Responding to growing concerns from students and their parents, Collegiate Village is the only gated community for students in the region with Card Access Entry.

Each bedroom door has a personal lockset just for the student(s) assigned, so privacy and possessions can be protected.

The property has a digital recording camera system to assist with monitoring the grounds of the property, and patrol personnel are routinely visible throughout, and are available to escort students when requested.

Maintenance

Residents won’t get better maintenance response anywhere else. They don’t have to shovel the driveway. They don’t have to wait for an absent landlord to respond. They don’t have to switch cars in a driveway. And they don’t have to park off the public roads in the winter.

Non-emergency maintenance requests are responded to within 24 to 48 hours, dependent upon the nature of the call. Emergency requests are responded to ASAP 24/7. That’s peace of mind.

Convenient Location ...

Collegiate Village is centrally located and within a 5 to 10 minute drive to many colleges and universities. Student residents have quick access to city life, the medical corridor, the airport, along with suburban shopping and entertainment. It is also centrally located near other institutions of higher learning and trade schools.
